SERVICE
As a leadership-based honorary society, we are comprised of exemplary residential students who value recognition and service. More specifically, as an organization, we try to improve our
community inside and outside of campus through
acts of service. Throughout the year, we have
service opportunities for members to
participate in, some of which
can be found below.
SERVICE PROJECTS WE HAVE PARTICIPATED IN

The Center for Leadership and Service offers a day during the spring semester for any organization to get involved with their community.

Boo Bash is a Halloween Carnival for local elementary students. The event is sponsored by UNT student organizations who host activity booths. At each booth, the children play games to win candy and prizes.

The Center for Leadership and Service offers this program, which allows us to help our community by picking up trash around a block on campus.

Project Linus is a national non-profit organization which provides love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets.

Eaglethon is a year-long fundraising program that ends with the main event, an 8 hour long dance and activities to celebrate the children helped by Children's Miracle Network Hospitals each year.

The Cinderella Project is an annual tradition where high school girls in the DFW area can get a prom dress and accessories for free.

During the Residence Hall Association's Fall Fest program, NRHH offers a service opportunity for the UNT community to give back.

Collecting pop tabs is a great program that benefits the Ronald McDonald House families and is easy to organize. The funds generated from recycling these aluminum gems help offset the House’s expenses.
